Once Upon a Time 3x18

The Wicked witch is just a cry-baby, who wants mommy to love her.
And is smashing up all the toys in a temper tantrum. (Apparently I'm still channeling Gabe)
And Killian is depressed because now even if she wanted to Emma can't kiss him.
Speaking of kisses...Regina and Robin were simply epic.
And I understand why he had to give up the heart. After all, no one can use someone's weaknesses against them quite like Rumpel.

he's baaaack...-ish!

So the lovely, funny, amazing, etc. Gabester is back. Sort of. Back-ish.
However the writers have promised that he really is alive and it's not just Cas going insane.
Again... wait... did he ever really get back to normal? Or as close to normal as someone dealing with Dean can...

Once Upon a Time 3x16

I loved the episode! I mean on one side we have Killian and Henry bonding. And we see how much Killian regrets everything that happened with Bae.
Although I have a question, well two, Where's the Jolly Roger? and Where did he get that floating P.O.S. from?
And then we have the story of the Wicked Witch, which is kind of cool. We find out how she became green (not really surprising actually).
And the show-down at sun-down. Poor Regina she really got her behind handed to her.

But what I absolutely loved about the episode was the slow burning romance between Regina and Robin.
It's so incredibly beautiful.
And I really really hope they actually get together, none of that we-kissed-once-but-we're-never-going-to-be-together crap.

Once Upon a Time 3x15

They killed Neal! (again) This time however he seems to be really dead!
Okay, now that that's out of my system. The episode itself was really fun to watch.
Especially the flirting between Regina and Robin. Hopefully she won't be too discouraged by the fact that he's supposed to be her soul-mate.
I have to admit I almost felt sorry for Neal. Coming back to find out your son doesn't remember you and there's nothing you can do had to be horrible.
And I'm really sad that Rumple lost his son, again. He's been through enough.
Snow looks about ready to pop.
And now they know who the witch is, so there's that to look forward to.

So the Elena-Damon we're-together-but-we-can't-be-together-but-we-should-have-really-hot-sex thing is driving me nuts.
But the real question this episode revealed is: Does every psycho-vampire Caroline meets just has to flirt with her?
And I really really want Klaus back. I know he promised and everything, but..... they're just so sweet together.

Once Upon a Time 3x14

So once again we're following Prince Charming on an adventure. True it's pretty much his job, but still I'd love to see someone else for a change.
Rapunzel was... depressing. Somehow I still hoped more from them.
Sadly the Regina - Robin thing didn't get any attention this time. I'm still hoping we'll see something happening between them. The whole Robin being her chance at happiness and everything.
And the "where's Neal" thing is really really grating on my nerves, but that's just me. (Hopefully he got eaten by something with really large teeth.)
And of course there's Hook. Something definitely happened during the Year. Something that made him tense up the moment Emma mentioned his ship.
Also, something that makes him more concerned than ever about loosing Emma. I'm willing to bet he hasn't let her out of his sight for more than ten minutes since he found her.
So at the moment I'm waiting to see what comes next.

The horror of numbers

When exactly did we become so dependent on a small device that shows us numbers? I mean almost every woman on Earth is almost obsessed with the weight. When did it become so important.

It’s very weird, especially remembering that one of the most beautiful women in art Aphrodite of Milos could never be considered skinny.

I find myself horrified by the lengths people are willing to go just to become skinny. And in all honesty I don’t really understand it.

True, sometimes even I get on a scale and think there should be less of me. But mostly I just ignore it. And wonder why others can’t do the same.

And then I see these children at work.

“Oh, no I’ve eaten two sandwiches for lunch I’m gonna be fat!” And I just want to walk up to them and ask them why the hell are they killing themselves.

Or the other ones, the teenagers who look like children from horrific photos of some third world country. Only skin and bones. And they still consider themselves too fat.
I wonder if they make jeans in size -1 for those who have become too thin for a size 0?

And even I…. I could be rambling about tv-shows or the hotness of Gwaine or the tragedy of freedom of speech… Instead I’m ranting about people killing themselves in the name of being walking skeletons…

Honestly… This world is completely insane…

Characters

Okay, so. Today, I'm thinking about characters. Mainly the bizarre trend in character development. Somehow over time characters with questionable moral principles have become better than the “Good” characters. Somehow more and more we see the good vs. evil stand turn into good tormenting the not-so-good and getting away with it. The simple fact that they are “Good” seems to give them the moral high-ground. And the permission to treat those less than good like dirt.
And the "good" characters seem more and more simply spineless cowards. And the morally ambiguous ones become the ones you'd feel safe with in a crisis.
I mean look at Spike, or Duke Crocker, or Ian Nottingham, or Derek Hale. I could keep going, for like an Hour!
And so, a question. If good is bad and bad turns out to be good, where does that leave our moral compass?

The Darkness

It fills every single part of you.
It takes your breath and fills your heart. And you want it to.
Because you know it will be so good.
The darkness is wrapped around your spine and spreads it’s fingers through your body and mind. Burning you in a dark flame and leaving behind an endless hunger.
It brings out your deepest darkest secrets and makes them real. And the darkness is always there in the back of your mind, it never leaves you.
It can make you crave things you never thought could be possible. Do things you never imagined doing.
It can fill your life. If you let it.
It can set you free and make you a prisoner. It can give you everything and take away all you had.
The darkness within us all can make us devils, but it can also set us free.
In the end it can only change us if we let it.
And so the question is: Should we let it?
